Terms of Use
Effective July 13, 2026
By using FishSpotter, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Fishing and access information
FishSpotter provides planning information, not permission, legal advice, safety advice, or a guarantee that fish are present. Maps and public-access signals can be incomplete or wrong. Always confirm property boundaries, posted signs, local regulations, licenses, weather, and safe access before you go.
Your account
An account is optional. You are responsible for access to your email account and for lawful use of FishSpotter. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access another person’s data.
Premium subscriptions
Premium plan price, billing period, renewal terms, and any trial are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the platform where they were purchased. Access can be restored by signing in with the same FishSpotter account and, where applicable, using the store’s restore function.
Availability
Features and data sources may change, pause, or stop. We may update or discontinue parts of FishSpotter and may limit access needed to protect users or the service.
Disclaimer and liability
FishSpotter is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, FishSpotter is not liable for injury, trespass, fines, lost data, missed fishing opportunities, or indirect losses arising from use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as FishSpotter changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
