FishSpotter

Privacy Policy

Effective July 13, 2026

FishSpotter can be used without an account. This policy explains what is handled when you search, save spots, create an account, or buy Premium.

Information we handle

How we use it

We use this information to operate searches, sync your saved spots, restore your account, determine Premium access, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

Services we use

FishSpotter uses service providers including Supabase for accounts and cloud data, Vercel for hosting, RevenueCat for subscription access, and map or location-data providers used by the search experience. Their own privacy terms apply to information they process.

Your choices

You can keep using FishSpotter without an account, sign out at any time, clear on-device saves, or request deletion of your account and synced data through the support contact shown in the website or app-store listing.

Data safety

We use access controls designed so signed-in users can only read or change their own saved spots. No internet service can promise perfect security, so please do not put sensitive personal information in spot nicknames.

How long we keep it

Raw product-analytics events are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted. We may keep daily totals without exact locations or personal spot details for longer so we can understand reliability and business trends. Account, synced-spot, and subscription records are kept while needed to provide those features or meet legal obligations.

Children

FishSpotter is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date at the top will show the latest version.
